About the artist, Kim Codner…
Kim has been a full-time artist since 1994.
She works in pencil, ink, watercolor, printmaking & collage. Kim is always curious about new mediums and expanding her skills. Which includes recently experimenting with digital art.
She welcomes the challenges of working in various sized projects. Her early days she created “Kimmy Cards” that were a line of hand drawn greeting cards. Kim currently is working in mixed media artwork, children's book Illustration, pattern surface design and as an IATSE scenic artist where she creates sets for theater, television & film.
Kim & her husband, Jerry launched “Let’s Go Publishing” in 2023. Together they create books to help children with new experiences.
The themes of her artwork flow from nature; living in costal New England, vintage, nostalgia and repurposing items and celebrating everyday objects.
As an artist her philosophy is that art should be obtainable to everyone and enjoyed everyday.
Kim & Jerry live north of Boston with their rescue dachshund mix dog, Bella.
When Kim is not creating she can be found either in her garden, hiking, drinking tea, playing mini golf, baking, dancing or on "adventure dates" with Jerry.
